Today we released a new version of Yoast SEO for TYPO3. This version (v5.0.0) contains a lot of new features and enhancements of existing features. We will show you what features are new and how it can help you to even get more visitors to your website.
Maybe the best feature of Yoast SEO for TYPO3, is the analysis that helps the editor to optimize the content. In this new version, that analysis is completely refactored.
With the premium plugin, you can even add synonyms and related keyphrases. When analyzing your content, those synonyms will also be checked. With this update, the analysis will come even closer to the behaviour of search engines.
Want to stand out between all your competitors in the search results? If you are providing structured data, search engines will more easily understand what you are telling your visitors. They may reward you with a rich snippet of your page so your page will look different from all the others.
With the new version of Yoast SEO for TYPO3, we will provide you the most basic structured data. From a technical perspective we totally refactored the plugin. All javascript is rewritten and is using React components now. By using those techniques, we are ready for the future and can go on developing the extension. The plugin now supports TYPO3 CMS version 8 and 9 and we will keep up to date with new core releases.
